This museum has the largest collection of artifacts worldwide. It was built in 1970s in a modern way with four story’s each occupying different artifacts. The third floor is housing articles with information on how hard Van Gogh struggled tirelessly to reinstate his artwork. . On the top floor, you will find paintings performed by other artistes of Van Gogh’s generation. This museum is rated among the most toured points in the city.
· Ann Frank House
This tourist hotspot was named after a woman who used this building as a hiding place during the time of World War II. During that period, she wrote a diary whereby its original copy is still kept up to date. Anne hid in this small building with her family and four other people from the Jewish community. It is in 1955, when people thought it was a good idea to preserve this building and it was made a museum 5 years later. Many visitors come to this area to view Anne’s showcase where her original diary is displayed on the top.
· Magere Brug
This is a treble bridge built by the Dutch people. It links the two sections of Amstel River. This bridge opens up in every 20 minutes to allow boats to cross. This is a very wonderful place to visit.
