Samuel R. Berger was holding the chief position at Washington DC based international advisory enterprise Albright Stonebridge Group. It is an associate company of Albright Capital Management. The company is a new generation advisory service providing group and having clients across Central Asia, Russia, Middle East and Asia. Its major clientele encompasses multinational companies, non-profit organizations, financial institutions and other industries. Prepared with a team of well skilled, highly trained industry professionals from the areas like finance, legal services, consultancy and economy; the company offers widespread advisory services relating to market potential, risk issues, government policies, management and other economical issues.
Samuel who was extensively known in his nick name Sandy Berger joined the Clinton Administration in 1997 and acted in the major position as National Security Advisor to President Clinton. In this position, Berger was given responsibilities like drawing policies, strategy formulation, and all that concerns national as well as international security. The major issues that he handled this time include NOTO bombing campaign against Yugoslavia, Operation Desert Fox, KHOBOR Towers bombing, Iraq Issues and strategy planning and actions against terrorist bombing on the American Embassies in Tanzania and Kenya.
Sandy Berger was appointed as the Director, National Security in the transition period of Clinton-Gore. For his well planned activity and amazing organizing ability during this time, Berger was highly appreciated by Clinton this time. He also performed as the Sr. Foreign Policy Advisor during presidential campaign for Clinton. He was a valued associate of Aspen Homeland Security project. Berger was quite involved in numerous activities of Aspen Homeland. He also rendered his devoted services for International Advisory Council under Brookings Doha Center. Berger was backed by a BA degree while he also completed JD from the Harvard Law School.
Subsequent to serving McGovern for mass campaigning, Berger gathered wide experience, as during this time, he worked in a range of government positions and became accustomed with public department related activities. Some of these positions were Special Assistant to New York’s Mayor John Lindsay and also as Legislative Assistant to Harold Hughes the U.S. Senator of Iowa. Aside from this, he worked for the Congressman Joseph Resnick of NY.
Meanwhile, Sandy Berger also worked as the Dy. Director of Policy Planning for the US State Department under Cyrus Vance, the Secretary of States. After leaving State Department’s job Berger joined the law firm Hogan and Hartson as its partner. During this phase, he mainly focused on the international clients of the firm. And he also opened two international offices for the law firm in London as well as in Brussels. Subsequent to Clinton’s Administration, his major area of work was Albright Stonebridge Group.
